Global luxury brand JW Marriott announced its debut of the new JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach, the brand’s first hotel in Singapore.
Ideally located near Marina Bay entertainment and business districts, the 634-room hotel is expected to be an iconic lifestyle destination at the heart of Singapore’s arts and culture district.
“We are thrilled to welcome discerning travellers to this design-led landmark in the hub of Singapore’s arts and culture district,” said Derek Flint, general manager, JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach. “We look forward to enriching guests with a truly luxurious experience and showcasing the warm, intuitive service that is synonymous with the JW Marriott brand globally.”
The hotel will blend old and new with interiors designed by renowned French designer Philippe Starck and architecture by award-winning British architects Foster and Partners. Guests can look forward to a multi-sensory cultural experience throughout the new hotel with more than 30 works and installations by regionally and internationally acclaimed artists.
The hotel will be a culinary destination featuring nine distinct dining options, including a restaurant by celebrated chef Akira Back, which will feature modern Japanese cuisine with Korean accents; Beach Road Kitchen, an all-day restaurant featuring global cuisine; Court Martial Bar and Media Bar, a refined gastro pub experience; and Tonic, an intimate lounge serving handcrafted gin-based cocktails.
Special guest amenities include a Concierge Library, an Activity Table offering enriching cultural programmes such as wine and cheese tasting and culinary events, as well as a variety of wellness offerings such as Spa by JW, set to open in the second quarter of 2017. Guestrooms will offer world-class modern amenities and several smart technology features.
