JetBlue, Norwegian Eye Partnership

Trans-Atlantic travel could get easier thanks to a new move from JetBlue and Norwegian.

The two airlines announced intent to form a partnership. Details regarding the workings are still scarce, but the alliance will allow for convenient booking on a single website. The partnership is expected to launch next summer and become bookable early next year.

“We are very excited to partner with JetBlue as this will make international travel even smoother and more available for our customers. JetBlue is the largest airline at several of our key gateways in the United States, specifically New York JFK, Boston and Fort Lauderdale, and this partnership will create a plethora of new route connections for customers on both sides of the Atlantic,” said Geir Karlsen, acting CEO, CFO, Norwegian.

When completed, the partnership will connect more than 60 U.S. destinations and nearly 40 Caribbean and Latin American cities to Norwegian’s network.
