JetBlue will significantly expand its premium Mint Class service in 2018 with the addition of three new U.S. domestic destinations and five additional flights on existing U.S. and Caribbean routes.
The service will be added on routes currently served by the airline’s Airbus A321 aircraft. The number of daily flights will increase to 80 per day on 20 routes next year. Mint will be available on Boston (BOS)–Las Vegas (LAS) flights beginning Jan. 4; Boston–Seattle (SEA), Feb. 15; and New York (JFK)–Seattle, April 15.
“We’re bringing even more Mint to markets in every corner of our route map where travelers are overdue for an upgrade to the so-called ‘first class’ flights offered by other airlines,” said Marty St. George, executive vice president of commercial and planning, JetBlue.
Additional Mint flights, starting Jan. 13, include New York–Los Angeles (LAX); Boston–San Francisco (SFO); New York–St. Maarten (SXM); Boston–Aruba (AUA) and Boston–St. Maarten begin Feb. 17. Service on seasonal Caribbean routes will run through April 2018.
The Mint service includes lie-flat seats, top-notch service, free Fly-Fi, non-stop entertainment, artisanal dining options and revitalizing amenities, to ensure travelers arrive in Mint condition. Travelers can also utilize faster check-in services, speed through security and pre-board.
