JetBlue announced it’s expanding service to Minneapolis (MSP), the airline’s 65th non-stop destination from Boston Logan International Airport.

The addition further strengthens JetBlue’s position as the leading airline in Boston, serving as the hub’s largest carrier in number of customers and flights, with up to 150 daily departures.

The airline will operate three daily round-trip flights between Boston and Minneapolis beginning May 3, 2018. Fares start at $89.

“As the largest airline in Boston we are answering calls from our customers who have long asked us to offer our great service and low fares on this important route,” said John Checketts, vice president network planning, JetBlue. “And adding Minneapolis–Saint Paul to our map will give Twin Cities travelers a refreshing new choice in the air with JetBlue’s long list of perks not matched by any other airline in the market.”

In other East Coast news, JetBlue reached an agreement to move operations at New York’s LaGuardia Airport to the Marine Air Terminal, bringing customers greater convenience and an improved ground experience while the Central Terminal undergoes reconstruction. The airline will occupy four gates once the transition is complete in December.
