Last week, Japan Airlines announced a new non-stop flight between Tokyo (NRT) and Seattle (SEA).
The Tokyo–Seattle flights commence March 2019. The addition comes with the announcement Japan Airlines is expanding its codeshare agreement with Alaska Airlines.
“We are pleased to announce the introduction of the Seattle–Narita route, which will commence service in March 2019. At the same time, I am honored to be able to announce the expansion of our codeshare agreement with Alaska Airlines, a valuable partner for us in the U.S. market,” said Tadashi Fujita, executive vice president, Japan Airlines.
Currently, Japan Airlines allows for 16 unique destinations on 25 U.S. West Coast routes thanks to its codeshare agreement with Alaska Airlines.
