Travelers between Mexico City and Orlando now have a regular option for flights thanks to Interjet Airlines. The flights, commenced recently, take passengers between Orlando International Airport and Mexico City’s Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juarez.
“With the growth of our Florida business, it was important Interjet serve the 2nd busiest airport in Florida — Orlando International Airport,” said Julio Gamero, chief commercial officer, Interjet. “Florida in general and the Orlando area in particular, are growing and significant markets for travel to Mexico City and we’re delighted to be able to offer business and leisure travelers everywhere we fly, our unique brand of lower prices with free checked bags on select fares, more legroom between seats and great service that is embraced everywhere we fly,” he added.
The service will be carried out by Airbus A320 aircraft, capable of seating 150 passengers.
Interjet will offer promotional fares for the round-trip service for $190, taxes included. Available to book through Aug. 5, the fare is valid for flights through Sept. 30.
