InterContinental Jakarta Pondok Indah opened its doors in South Jakarta earlier in the month. The property sits in the affluent Pondok Indah neighborhood, which boasts high-end accommodations and international schools. Shopping, business facilities, Soekarno-Hatto International Airport and golf courses are nearby.

The property offers more than 300 guestrooms and suites alongside ample event space. The hotel hopes to evolve as the most coveted wedding venue in the city. The grand ballroom fits 3,500 and an outdoor terrace is available for smaller ceremonies. A chef’s table is available for intimate event catering and wedding planners are on staff.

For traveling families, the hotel provides a children’s swimming pool and playground, as well as access to Pondok Indah Water Park and children’s facilities at Pondok Indah Mall.

Multiple dining venues include Sugar & Spice for all-day international dining, and The Aqua Lounge, a poolside cocktail bar.

“We are delighted to bring modern glamour to the exclusive Pondok Indah neighborhood through the InterContinental life” said Anil Pathak, general manager, InterContinental Jakarta Pondok Indah. “The hotel redefines luxury, offering memorable experiences with unrivaled facilities and a commitment to service for our business travelers, families and wedding couples. We are Jakarta’s premier destination for discerning travelers.”
