InterContinental Hotels Group expands its footprint in Saudi Arabia with plans for the new InterContinental Durrat Al Riyadh. The property opens in 2020, a short drive from King Khalid International Airport. The property is also near King Abdullah Financial District and many luxury shopping options.
The converted property includes more than 150 guestrooms and 10 private chalets, a kids’ club, a miniature golf course, five dining options, outdoor and indoor pools, a fitness center, a spa and tennis courts.
“IHG has a strong foothold and reputation in the luxury segment through our flagship brand, InterContinental, which has enjoyed great success in Saudi Arabia over the last four decades. We look forward to continuing this legacy with the opening of InterContinental Durrat Al Riyadh,” said Pascal Gauvin, managing director, India, Middle East and Africa, InterContinental Hotels Group.
