Feature

Most travelers have had a bad travel experience, leaving them stranded in the heat. Whether dealing with a broken-down car, camping in a tent or just in a backyard sunroom, getting caught in the heat is not a good experience.

The IcyBreeze Portable Air Conditioner and Cooler is the perfect amenity for travelers in humid climates. The appliance is perfect for frequent campers, boaters, pilots and more.

The AC device comes in three different colors and acts as a cooler and an air conditioner by using cold water in the body of the device as a cooling agent. The three-speed fan helps spread out the cool air, lowering the temperature of any given room. When you aren’t using the air conditioner part of the machine, the cooler will keep ice solid for up to seven days in temperatures reaching 90 degrees.

The cooler has a 38-quart interior and holds 49 cans. When purchasing the cooler, select one of three, or more, power options. These include a car adapter, a wall adapter and a portable battery. The battery lasts up to six hours when using the air conditioner on a low setting.

You can get one of the coolers from the IcyBreeze website here.

High-Spirited Hong Kong: The Dynamic Hub Embraces Its Maritime History and Culture

It was known as the “Kai Tak heart attack” — the thrilling, terrifying final approach into Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Airport. Airliners were required to bank sharply at the last moment, dodging hills and apartment blocks to line up with a runway jutting out into Kowloon Bay. The airport is long gone, but international visitors are arriving at Kai Tak again, albeit more sedately. Their cruise ships dock smoothly at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, a modern gateway designed by Sir Norman Foster.
