The tequila toast features one of the resort’s more than 150 rotating artisan tequilas. At the toast, a tequila aficionado tells the story of Pancho Villa asking for his love’s hand in marriage. In this tale, Villa is only able to win his love’s father’s approval by out-drinking him in tequila. So, Villa comes up with the world’s most difficult tequila toast: Aribba, abajo, al centro, al dentro.

A Taste of Guadalajara takes place in Miramonte’s new olive grove beneath twinkling lights and surrounded by the Santa Rosa Mountains.
