The Viceroy Hotel Group announced the opening of Hotel Zeppelin in San Francisco, calling it a “progressive hideaway that reflects the heart and soul of the City by the Bay.”

The Zeppelin is set in a historic building near Union Square. With a “mischievous approach to design,” the hotel will open this spring. The décor is inspired by San Francisco writers, artists, poets and musicians, with vivid touches and luxury, contemporary accommodations.

“Hotel Zeppelin reflects the creative, rebellious and sometimes subversive spirit that is the vanguard of our guests,” said Antonio Flores, general manager, Hotel Zeppelin. “It will become a destination that attracts industry leaders, standout cultural tastemakers, and the disrupters who are defining the future.”

When it opens, the hotel will include the Zeppelin Café, curated by Bulldog Coffee. The café will serve Bay Area favorites like Sightglass Coffee, Dynamo Donuts and provisions from Jane.

Hotel Zeppelin will have 196 guest rooms, including 20 suites. Amenities include 3,000 square feet of meeting and event space, a game lounge and the café. The hotel is taking reservations now.
