Walt Disney Studios unveiled a suite at Quebec City’s Hotel de Glace modeled after the company’s recent animated hit Frozen . The collaboration celebrates the movie’s upcoming Blu-ray release. Frozen is a modern twist on Hans Christian Andersen’s The Snow Queen.
Through March 23, the suite, created entirely out of sculpted ice and snow, is modeled after the Anna and Elsa’s, the main characters, bedrooms. Supervised by the film’s art director, the hotel also features a Frozen activity cave, bringing the movie to life in a new way.
Hotel de Glace is located 10 minutes from downtown Quebec City and one of the area’s top must-see attractions, attracting nearly 1 million visitors since its 2001 opening. Every year from Jan. 3 through March 23, it impresses with snow vaults, crystalline ice sculptures and works of art.
