Hilton now connects guests with more fun activities and exclusive discounts with a new feature on the Hilton HHonors app. Fun Finder creates personalized recommendations for your trip, offers insider information and provides special deals related to your stay. Currently, the feature is available at Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort and Hilton Anatole, rolling out to other resorts at a later date.
Fun Finder uses your phone’s WiFi connection, GPS, beacon technology and a pre-arrival survey to discover your preferences. Then it makes suggestions and offers based on your hotel, time of visit, location in the resort or other planned activities. From walking tours and complimentary drinks to happy hour notifications and background information on the hotel’s art, the feature provides it all. There are also convenient services included such as directions around the resort and advanced dinner or spa reservations, as well as real-time direct messaging with a resort team member.
“We are making it easier than ever for our guests to be spontaneous and seize every opportunity to enjoy their stay, giving our Hilton HHonors members the inside scoop before they even have to ask. Fun Finder is a huge leap forward for the hotel industry — we’re artfully blending technology with exceptional experiences in a way that gives travelers a smarter, more personalized stay,” said Joshua Sloser, vice president of digital product innovation, Hilton Worldwide.
“We’re reimagining the guest experience, finding new ways our Hilton HHonors app can better connect members to what they love. Fun Finder will also transform how our hotels manage themselves, as it provides real-time insights on everything from where additional Team Members are needed to what time of day guests are most interested in fitness classes,” said Rich DiStefano, senior director of mobile products, Hilton Worldwide.

Sep 17, 2026High-Spirited Hong Kong: The Dynamic Hub Embraces Its Maritime History and Culture
It was known as the “Kai Tak heart attack” — the thrilling, terrifying final approach into Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Airport. Airliners were required to bank sharply at the last moment, dodging hills and apartment blocks to line up with a runway jutting out into Kowloon Bay. The airport is long gone, but international visitors are arriving at Kai Tak again, albeit more sedately. Their cruise ships dock smoothly at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, a modern gateway designed by Sir Norman Foster.
