The Fives Downtown Hotel & Residences, Curio Collection by Hilton opened in Playa Del Carmen as the first Curio Collection property in Mexico, as well as Hilton’s first property in Playa del Carmen. The boutique hotel offers 93 guestrooms, four dining options and a rooftop infinity pool with views of the ocean. The property is two blocks from the Playa del Carmen beach, with access to nearby attractions, such as Tulum.

Dining options include El Tigre, a tequila bar featuring local beers and more than 100 different tequilas and mezcals, as well as an on-site tequila master. Mercatto is an Italian eatery serving all-day dining from healthy breakfasts to shared dinner plates from the open kitchen. Marley’s Coffee provides a selection of beverages and baked goods.
