Brazilian airline GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes announced the signing of a codeshare agreement with TAP Portugal. Under the terms of the new agreement, TAP will place its code on GOL-operated flights and members of both GOL’s SMILES and TAP’s Victory frequent-flyer loyalty programs will be able to accumulate and redeem miles on all eligible flights operated by the two companies. GOL currently operates approximately 910 daily flights to 65 destinations in South America, the United States and the Caribbean, while TAP flies to 78 cities in 34 countries, including 74 weekly flights from Portugal to destinations across Brazil.
