Yardley, Pa., Jan. 22, 2014 – Global Traveler, the only monthly magazine for business and luxury travelers, is collecting donations for its annual online travel auction. The auction, benefitting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, launches March 1 at www.globaltravelerusa.com/auction.
Global Traveler is working with LLS for the fourth consecutive year; 100 percent of the auction proceeds will benefit the charity dedicated to fighting blood and lymph cancers. Donations are currently being accepted for the two-month auction. Popular items include premium-class airline tickets, 4- and 5-star hotel stays, electronics and travel products. “Our annual auction is one of our most important projects each year,” said Francis X. Gallagher, publisher and CEO, Global Traveler. “We work closely with LLS in the fight against cancer. As a member of the Board of Trustees, this cause is near and dear to my heart. We have an ambitious goal of raising $100,000 for LLS in 2104, and we urge travel providers to send donations and be a part of the mission to cure cancer.”
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is dedicated to finding a cure for blood and lymph cancers. LLS has awarded more than $750 million in research funding for all blood cancers.
