Flying into Incheon International Airport? If your final destination is Seoul, you have a few options for getting there.

If you take the train, you’ll have two classes to choose from. The All Stop Train does just what it sounds like — it stops at every station between downtown Seoul, about an hour away, and Incheon. If you choose the Express Train, however, you can get to Seoul faster, as the 40-minute train ride goes directly between the two destinations. Express Trains depart from the airport every 20–40 minutes.

If you brave the bus system, you can get to all major areas of Seoul in an hour to 1.5 hours. There are four airport bus companies to choose from: City Airport Logis & Travel, Airport Limousine, Seoul Airbus and KAL Limousine.

Lastly, you can take a taxi to get from Incheon to Seoul. There are standard, international deluxe and jumbo taxis. International taxis can be a boon because the drivers speak English, but they’re 20 percent more expensive than standard taxis. Deluxe taxis are more luxurious sedans and jumbo taxis are made to fit up to eight passengers at once. Taxi stands are located outside the arrival terminal.

High-Spirited Hong Kong: The Dynamic Hub Embraces Its Maritime History and Culture

It was known as the “Kai Tak heart attack” — the thrilling, terrifying final approach into Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Airport. Airliners were required to bank sharply at the last moment, dodging hills and apartment blocks to line up with a runway jutting out into Kowloon Bay. The airport is long gone, but international visitors are arriving at Kai Tak again, albeit more sedately. Their cruise ships dock smoothly at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, a modern gateway designed by Sir Norman Foster.
