If you’re experiencing a few shank and worm burner issues, or just feeling fatigued and out of shape, not to worry: Now, at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa, just north of San Diego, you can fine-tune your game and get into tip-top physical condition with the newly introduced TOURAcademy Golf & Fitness Program. Offered exclusively at this property, the individually tailored training plan offers a blend of hands-on golf instruction from TOURAcademy professionals, and personal fitness and diet coaching from the team at Premier Fitness Camp.

The first part of each day is spent under the direction of exercise, nutrition and wellness experts who also teach motivational techniques. In the afternoon, head for one of two championship golf courses, where the pros use state-of-the-art technology and highly personalized instruction based on your own game’s needs. Accommodations are in the resort’s large, comfortable rooms, and three gourmet meals and two snacks per day are included. In addition, you’ll receive a baseline health assessment that includes blood work, half-day fitness and education classes, all golf instruction, an additional 18 holes, and a 12-week at-home coaching program that comes with meal and fitness plans.

Fees begin at $4,945 per week for single occupancy, and $3,945 based on double. And yes, longer stays can be accommodated. The Omni La Costa Resort & Spa bears the distinction of being Southern California’s only Golf Magazine Gold Medal Resort. The property’s Champions course was renovated in 2011; the second course, Legends, will reopen later this year.
