Discount carrier Frontier Airlines announced the addition of new flights in 12 U.S. markets this year.

Cities include Bismarck (BIS), Chicago (ORD), Colorado Springs (COS), Indianapolis (IND), Las Vegas (LAS), Los Angeles (LAX), San Diego (SAN), San Francisco (SFO), Sioux Falls (FSD), Washington, D.C. (IAD), Fort Myers (RSW) and Tampa (TPA). Ten of the routes are launching June 10–July 16, while the Florida flights, originating in Colorado Springs, will commence in the fall. Introductory fares begin at $29.

“Our network continues to expand in markets where people want to fly,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network planning, Frontier. “Customer [sic] traveling in these new markets will now have a new low-cost option.”

The service includes daily, seasonal flights from Colorado Springs to Chicago O’Hare, San Diego and Washington/Dulles, beginning June 10; four weekly flights to Los Angeles beginning June 12; three weekly flights to San Francisco beginning June 11; twice weekly flights from Las Vegas to Bismarck beginning June 11; four weekly flights to Sioux Falls starting June 12; daily flights to Washington Dulles beginning June 16; and three weekly flights to Indianapolis beginning July 16. All flights will operate year-round.

Non-stop flights from Dulles to Colorado Springs will be the first of such service in the D.C. area.
