The Four Seasons Washington, D.C. completed its renovation just in time for the cherry blossoms to bloom in the nation’s capital.
With a final cost of $13 million, the renovation features nature-inspired upgrades to 222 rooms. The new designs draw inspiration from D.C.’s signature flower, the cherry blossom, which blooms annually from late March to early April. Shades of white, light pink, peach and brown pay homage to the floral gift from Japan in 1912, intended to foster peaceful relations in the United States.
This year, the Four Seasons also implements its Signature Sleep initiative to provide guests with a more peaceful sleep experience. By combining elements of soothing décor and modern comfort, the hotel chain hopes to master the Art of Sleeping and help guests feel more rested and relaxed during their stay.
The Georgetown-based hotel introduces its renovated rooms just in time for the rush of visitors that flood Washington beginning in late spring.
