Fortune Wings Club, the frequent-flyer program for Hainan Airlines, Hong Kong Airlines and smaller domestic Chinese carriers offers two different status challenges, allowing members to jump into the elite level.
Interested members are offered the chance to be promoted to either the Gold or Silver level depending on the status fulfillment they reach. The first option is a direct upgrade to Silver Card/Gold Card with one business-class booking on specific flights. The other is a status challenge with six segments for Silver and 12 segments for Gold requirement.
