Fontainebleau Miami Beach launched a family-friendly, summer pop-up concept from Michael Mina, PIZZA + BURGER, in June. In addition to the pop-up culinary concept, the resort is offering a number of other family-centric programming through Labor Day. The new offerings from Fontainebleau are in line with luxury resorts offering limited-edition programming aimed at families, allowing for one-of-a-kind experiences for guests of all ages, as well as more immersive experiences through every aspect of the hospitality experience, food and beverage included. Every Wednesday and Saturday, Family Pastry Classes/Tours take kids and parents behind the scenes of Fontainebleau’s pastry kitchen while they work side-by-side one of the hotel’s pastry chefs on a sweet treat. Classes begin at 11 a.m., and are limited to eight people. Children 5 years of age or older are welcome; reservations are required. Movie nights will be hosted by the resort’s pool, allowing families to watch their favorite movies on a 14-foot by 24-foot screen. The Summer Olympics will also be screened. To further the family fun, complimentary pool- and beach-side games and toys include oversized chess boards and boogie boards.
