Road trips for Tesla owners out of Los Angeles are easier than ever thanks to the city’s first-ever Tesla Supercharger Station at the Hotel Indigo Los Angeles Downtown.
The hotel is home to the first supercharger in the city, available via the hotel’s valet for guests staying overnight and for the general public who could use a power-boosted charge.
The first Tesla Supercharger stations debuted in 2012, and, in that time, 12,011 individual chargers at 1,422 locations worldwide debuted.
Supercharging stations are able to totally charge a Tesla in 75 minutes. To complement the quick charging speed, Hotel Indigo Los Angeles Downtown introduced a special dining menu for visitors using the superchargers. The “Recharge Menu” includes free parking and a dining credit while the Tesla is charging.
The supercharger location gives Los Angeles-based Tesla drivers a chance to charge their car quickly before kicking off a road trip.
