Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown recently reopened its Fairmont Gold, introducing amenities, a contemporary new style in the Fairmont Gold Lounge and dedicated concierges. The 48-room, three-suite Fairmont Gold, positioned as an urban oasis, takes over the entire ninth floor of the hotel and delivers exceptional service to meet guests’ needs.

According to Pierre Josselin, associate principal, Jeffrey Beers International, which led the renovation in the Fairmont Gold Lounge, “The goal was to elevate the look and feeling by adding layers, contrast and curated artwork.”

A dedicated multilingual staff assists guests from registration through their stay. Fairmont Gold guests also enjoy the private lounge, full American breakfast, cocktail canapés, evening dessert, daily snacks, soft drinks, an honor bar, complimentary WiFi, nightly turndown, overnight shoeshine and a morning newspaper.

The new reception space allows guests to relax in seating, surrounded by décor that ensures a residential feel. The color scheme of deep blue, grey and cognac joins design touches of soft fabrics, rich leather, antique mirrors and sconces.
