Day 1: 1,000 Welcomes to Clare's Coastal Charms

Your adventure begins as you land at Shannon Airport, ready to explore the rugged landscapes of County Clare. After picking up your rental car, head to the luxurious Dromoland Castle Hotel, where you’ll experience the grandeur of staying in a historic castle. Start your day with a lavish breakfast at the hotel, setting the tone for the rest of your trip. For lunch, enjoy fresh seafood with stunning views of Galway Bay at Monks Ballyvaughan.

In the afternoon, marvel at the iconic Cliffs of Moher and soak in the sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean. Explore the unique limestone pavements of The Burren and discover the underground wonders of Aillwee Cave, complete with a visit to Birds of Prey Centre. End your day with an elegant dinner at The Dining Room at Gregans Castle Hotel before heading to Gus O’Connor’s Pub in Doolin. Here, lively traditional music sessions will immerse you in the local culture and provide a perfect conclusion to your first day.

Day 2: Galway's Vibrant Culture

After a sumptuous breakfast at Dromoland Castle, drive to Galway and check into The g Hotel & Spa, a chic and luxurious hotel designed by Philip Treacy. Begin your exploration with a visit to Connemara National Park, where the rugged beauty of the landscape will leave you in awe. Take a trip to Kylemore Abbey, a fairy-tale castle with a stunning Victorian walled garden.

For lunch, savor creative dishes with a local twist at Ard Bia at Nimmos. Spend the afternoon wandering through the vibrant streets of Galway City, visiting the Spanish Arch and shopping at local boutiques. In the evening, indulge in a Michelin-starred dining experience at Aniar, where the focus is on local ingredients. Wrap up your day with a visit to Tigh Neachtain, a historic pub known for its traditional music and great atmosphere.

Day 3: The Beauty of Mayo

Enjoy a leisurely castle breakfast before heading to Mayo. Your accommodation for the night is the magnificent Ashford Castle, a historic fortress turned luxurious hotel. Begin your day with a climb up Croagh Patrick, Ireland’s holy mountain, where the rewarding views from the top are well worth the effort. After your hike, have a hearty lunch at The Tavern Bar & Restaurant in Murrisk.

In the afternoon, tour historic Westport House and its beautiful gardens, then take a leisurely cycle or walk along The Great Western Greenway. For dinner, experience the exquisite George V Dining Room at Ashford Castle, known for its elegant setting and superb cuisine. End your night at Matt Molloy’s Pub in Westport, owned by the famous flutist of The Chieftains, where you can enjoy a night of traditional Irish music.

Day 4: Sligo's Scenic Wonders

After a delightful breakfast at Ashford Castle, make your way to Sligo and check into The Glasshouse Hotel, a modern establishment with scenic views of Garavogue River. Start your day with a hike around the iconic table-top mountain, Benbulben. Visit Drumcliffe to pay homage at the final resting place of renowned poet W.B. Yeats.

For lunch, enjoy locally sourced food at Shells Café in Strandhill. Spend the afternoon exploring the ruins of 13th-century Sligo Abbey. In the evening, indulge in a fine-dining experience at Eala Bhán, which focuses on Irish cuisine. Conclude your day at Shoot the Crows Pub, where the cozy atmosphere and traditional Irish music will make for a memorable night.

Day 5: Donegal's Majestic Landscapes

Start your final day with a hearty Irish breakfast at The Glasshouse Hotel before heading to Donegal. Check into Harvey’s Point, a luxury hotel nestled on the shores of Lough Eske with breath-taking views and top-notch service. Begin your day with a visit to Slieve League Cliffs, one of Europe’s highest sea cliffs, offering dramatic scenery that’s a perfect introduction to Donegal.

For lunch, stop by The Lemon Tree in Letterkenny for some fresh seafood. In the afternoon, explore the stunning Glenveagh National Park and visit Glenveagh Castle, a beautiful 19th-century mansion. For dinner, dine at Chandpur Indian Restaurant in Donegal Town, where traditional Indian cuisine meets Irish hospitality. End your trip with a visit to McCafferty’s Bar, where you can enjoy a pint and live traditional music.

As your adventure comes to a close, return to Shannon Airport for your flight home, carrying memories of an unforgettable journey through Ireland’s west coast.
