EVA Air was recently awarded a 5-star ranking by Skytrax. The 5-star rating is the highest possible in the Skytrax rating system and is awarded only to airlines that undergo a rigorous audit. Airlines are analyzed on everything from ground staff service to in-flight products to cabin classes during a year-long process. “EVA Air is being certified as the eighth 5-star airline in the world, joining an esteemed and exclusive group of the leading international carriers. EVA passengers enjoy a high-quality product, supported by outstanding 5-star staff service in both the airport and onboard environments. The 5-star airline symbol is recognized throughout the world by passengers, media, airlines and the travel industry as a whole,” said Edward Plaisted, CEO, Skytrax. Skytrax previously rated EVA Air 4 stars in 2008. In addition, in 2015, Skytrax rated EVA one the world’s top 10 best airlines and the No. 1 airline for best cabin cleanliness.
