Qatar Airways will boost its connectivity in Europe with additional frequencies added to select cities in order to cater to growing demand and offer passengers more convenient connection options when traveling from Doha’s new Hamad International Airport. From February 2015, the Gulf carrier will increase service to Barcelona and Manchester to double daily and boost flights to Stockholm and Copenhagen from daily to 10 and 11 weekly services, respectively.
“As a rapidly expanding global airline, it is crucial that we not only support new destination launches, but also add to the existing capacity across our network. This, in turn, provides passengers with an additional level of connectivity and choice when traveling the globe, facilitated by seamless transfers through our new 5-star hub and home, Hamad International Airport,” said Akbar Al Baker, CEO, Qatar Airways.
