Etihad Airways will introduce a second daily flight from Abu Dhabi (AUH) to Kuala Lumpur (KUL) from July 15, adding 1,400 seats per week. The carrier will operate both flights with a two-class Airbus A330-200 aircraft, featuring 18 seats in business class and 236 in economy. “More than 1 million passengers have traveled with Etihad Airways to and from Malaysia since the commencement of services in January 2007,” said James Hogan, president and CEO of Etihad. “The airline’s new double daily schedule caters for the growing demand for travel between Abu Dhabi and Malaysia and gives our guests a greater choice of travel times.”
