With the upcoming debut of the extra-large private V.I.P. suite called “The Residence” and nine First Class Apartments on its new Airbus A380, Etihad selected dedicated hospitality professionals to undergo specialist training at the Savoy Butler Academy in London. Delivered by the University of West London in conjunction with The Savoy Hotel, the three-week program will teach Etihad Butlers how to offer passengers the discrete personal service and attention found in the world’s most exclusive hotels. The trainees will learn important details on how to cater to passengers and assist throughout their travel experience, from international protocol and etiquette to valeting and organizing travel arrangements to luxury food and wine service standards.
