Etihad Airways will launch new international service from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) three times a week to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (AUH) starting on Dec. 3, 2014. Etihad Airways will service the route with a Boeing 777-200LR aircraft featuring a three-class design.
“The United States is one of Etihad Airways’ most important global markets and we are delighted to add Dallas/Fort Worth, a key U.S. destination and hub, to our flight network,” said James Hogan, president and CEO, Etihad Airways.
The addition of Etihad Airways builds on DFW’s record expansion of air service. The airport has added 23 new international services and 10 new airline partners in the past three years.
“This new flight from Etihad Airways demonstrates that the Dallas/Fort Worth region continues to grow as one of the most vital business and tourism centers in the world, and it demonstrates the continuing benefit of having a world-class airport to help drive international growth,” said Sean Donohue, CEO, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
