Relax and rejuvenate this summer at the Mirbeau Inn & Spa in New York’s Finger Lakes wine region during the intimate retreat’s Mind, Body and Soul Escape. The unique wellness program combines the practice of yoga with the balancing art of stand-up paddle boarding to offer yogis and fitness enthusiasts the opportunity to practice their best poses above the pristine waters of Skaneateles Lake.
Held July 12–13, the Mind, Body and Soul Escape retreat is available for $275 per person. Guests who stay overnight at the 34-room Mireabu are provided with a discounted room rate of $260 per evening for Sunday and Monday night.
The retreat kicks off on the mat Sunday evening, with yoga for athletes held on the Monet Deck at 5 p.m. Following this, participants are treated to a welcome dinner with nutrition consultation and a dry-land paddle boarding overview at 7 p.m.
Monday morning, yogis start their day learning water safety instruction while enjoying a power breakfast and juicing. After fueling for the day, participants take part in a paddle-boarding cardio workout on Skaneateles Lake. Following a picnic lunch at the park with nutrition consultation, yoga takes place at 1 p.m. A gentle stretch concludes the active day.
Participants can choose to enjoy treatments at the award-winning Spa Mirbeau during the two-day retreat at a 20 percent discount. The spa is offering splurge-worthy off-menu treatments this summer from the natural skincare company FarmHouse Fresh. Unique offerings include a Golden Pear Body Scrub and Coconut Grove Manicure and Pedicure. While at the spa, guests can also enjoy its several amenities, including a relaxing aqua terrace Jacuzzi, heated foot pool, dry sauna, serene resting area and top-of-the-line fitness center.
Nestled in 10 acres of Monet-inspired gardens, Mirbeau Inn & Spa is surrounded by spruce forests, rolling hills and crystal lakes as well as more than 100 wineries, offering travelers a serene escape in the heart of the Finger Lakes.
