Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort reopened late last month following extensive renovations. The $40 million in updates and improvements ensures guests refined luxury across all of the resort’s 336 guestrooms.

New interior designs are clean and modern, with touches of Dutch history, nautical inspiration and nods to the property’s Caribbean locale. A color palette of neutrals and blues is accented with pops of orange and brown. Each room includes its own private balcony with an ocean or pool view and spa bathrooms. Artwork is made from locally recycled plastic.

The resort’s on-site dining options include a fine-dining restaurant called C-Spice with a Latin-European menu, as well as multiple bars and a cigar lounge and bar.

“With an increase in the number of tourism arrivals from North America to Curaçao last year, we see the demand rising for a top-notch hospitality experience on the island,” said Hal Davis, director of sales and marketing, Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort. “The reopening of the resort introduces a unique Dutch-Caribbean full-service resort experience, and we look forward to creating memorable moments for guests visiting the island for the first time.”

The property sits on six acres overlooking the Caribbean.
