Travellers using airline apps have a few enhancements with AirAsia’s version.
The new enhancements for AirAsia’s mobile app include a new interactive map, new flight chat rooms, easy access to boarding passes and more. The app is available for iOS and Android devices and utilizes a new guest-centric approach to improve performance and give passengers a better experience overall.
Every existing feature on the app is being refined and optimized, while a slew of new features give passengers new ways to use the app. One of the new features is flight chat rooms. When check-in service opens, guests can chat with others on the same flight to get familiar with fellow travellers. AirAsia also added Apple e-wallet compatibility, so boarding passes are always available.
“We believe these new people-centric features will make planning and booking a trip easier and more enjoyable for our guests. We will continue to invest in initiatives that deliver a more personalised touch and we look forward to observing how our guests interact with us and fellow travellers,” said Karen Chan, chief commercial officer, AirAsia Group.
