Art & Lounge is EL AL Israel Airlines’ newest lounge at Newark Liberty International Airport. The lounge, on the gate level in Terminal B, is open to premium passengers flying to Israel. The space is unique as it will do double duty as the setting for a series of changing exhibitions showcasing contemporary Israeli art and video.
Luxury Lounges Ltd. Co. established the lounge and curated the space with high expectations for the design and art installations. Intended to offer an oasis of comfort and convenience, the lounge has seating for 90 guests. In addition to Kosher refreshments, a freshly prepared dairy buffet selection of fruits, a vegetable salad bar, cheese, breads, as well as sweet and salty baked goods are available. There’s also a “health corner” featuring granola, dried fruit, yogurt, dates and honey.
“This new lounge meets the high standards of service and comfort as well as quality food offerings that we provide to our passengers,” said Daniel Saadon, vice president, EL AL, North and Central America.
