Red Savannah’s eight-day, self-drive tour, Gourmet South Africa, begins in Cape Town, where you explore Table Mountain and enjoy a culinary tour of Malay Quarter. The stop in Malay Quarter includes a traditional cooking experience from a local in their home, teaching guests to make cultural favorites like rotis, samosas and traditional Cape Malay curry. Next, travelers go back in time and sip the native Vin de Constance wine on the farm owned by the first governor of the Cape, Simon van Der Stel.
