Doubletree by Hilton is continuing its explosive expansion by adding new properties in two of Thailand’s most popular cities.
In the first half of 2019 alone, the brand opened 15 hotels worldwide. The brand first debuted in Thailand in 2013.
The first property, DoubleTree by Hilton Bangkok Ploenchit, offers access to one of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods, at the city center. The property is nearby lively streets and important cultural landmarks. Close proximity to Ploenchit BTS Skytrain also gives guests easy access to the entire city.
DoubleTree by Hilton Phuket Banthai Resort recently opened and gives guests a taste of tropical paradise with easy access to beaches and metropolitan areas as well. This property offers guests a complete resort experience.
“Asia Pacific continues to be an integral part of the DoubleTree by Hilton growth story, especially during the brand’s 50th anniversary year. In addition to these new properties, we are slated to open close to 100 DoubleTree hotels throughout the region in the coming years, totaling more than 24,000 rooms,” said Shawn McAteer, global head and senior vice president, DoubleTree by Hilton.
Nearly half of the properties in the DoubleTree global pipeline can be found in the Asia Pacific region.
