Primeval Forest National Park

In this old-growth woodland, you’ll see several species of birds, including wild flamingos and herons. The forest is also home to dramatic sinkholes and limestone caverns easily accessible thanks to well-maintained boardwalks, steps and bridges.

The Retreat Garden

This lush, 11-acre botanical garden is considered one of the world’s best-known private palm tree collections. Relax among the garden’s more than 90 species of palm trees, or take a walk on its paths and boardwalks.

Cave Beach

Indulge in a peaceful escape at this serene stretch of sand edged by natural limestone caves. This beach sits just off Cable Beach and boasts crystal-clear turquoise waters and excellent snorkeling over rocky reefs.

Café Matisse

Situated behind historic Parliament Square in downtown Nassau, this café sits in a preserved, 100-year-old building that was once a firehouse and later a library. Enjoy authentic Italian cuisine, including homemade pasta, seafood, pizza and desserts.

Clifton Heritage National Park

Known for its underwater sculpture garden, this park also amazes visitors with its walking trails that weave through Lucayan artifacts, plantation ruins and panoramic cliffs.

Love Beach

On the northwestern side of New Providence, Love Beach draws visitors thanks to its clearer and calmer waters. Perfect for snorkeling over coral reefs, this beach promises a more secluded experience.

Nesbitt’s Restaurant and Lounge

For more than 40 years, this staple has served up hearty Bahamian breakfasts like steamed sardines with creamy grits and sausage simmered in tomato sauce. Don’t miss this eatery for a laid-back, flavor-packed morning.
