Delta Air Lines continues to expand its footprint outside the airport, with a three-year agreement and partnership with the University of California, Los Angeles.
Delta previously launched other alliances with universities across the country to embed the airline and its employees in campus and alumni events, academics and career recruiting to become a travel partner to future customers. The airline is reaching beyond athletics to connect with students, building relationships.
The partnership with UCLA is Delta’s first West Coast school, becoming the official airline for athletics, the alumni association and Rose Bowl Stadium.
Delta supported UCLA’s move-in day with Delta Sky360 lounges stocked with complimentary drinks, snacks, massages and merchandise giveaways. In the future the airline partnership will include promotions, on-campus events and advertising — permanent branding at the Rose Bowl and signage at football and basketball games.
“We are excited to partner with Delta as the official airline of UCLA Athletics,” said Josh Rebholz, senior associate athletic director, UCLA. “While Delta is an industry leader and global giant, they’re also very involved in the Los Angeles community. Their support plays an important role in helping our student-athletes as they continuously strive to be champions in competition and in the classroom.”
Other universities partnered with Delta are Boston College, University of Florida, University of Georgia, Georgia Institute of Technology, Indiana University, University of Michigan, Michigan State University, University of Minnesota, University of North Carolina, North Carolina State University, University of Notre Dame, The Ohio State University, Penn State University, Syracuse University and University of Wisconsin.

Sep 17, 2026Review: InterContinental Barcelona
When searching for a place to stay in Barcelona, I was picky. I wanted a well-situated hotel to access all the city has to offer and to serve as a respite from the hustle and bustle of the Spanish hot spot. My search led me to InterContinental Barcelona.
