Two industry leaders are making it easier for travelers to fly and stay with a new Delta Air Lines and Airbnb loyalty partnership. The collaboration allows SkyMiles members to earn miles and discounts for staying and hosting with Airbnb worldwide.

With the slogan, “Fly Global, Live Local,” the partnership allows travelers to choose from Airbnb’s 25 million homes in 191 countries while enjoying extra incentives in the form of miles and stay discounts.

SkyMiles member benefits include a sign-up bonus of $25 off the first qualifying Airbnb stay and up to 1,000 bonus miles. Those already registered on Airbnb will earn one mile per $1 spent on all stays. Additionally, SkyMiles members can earn up to 25,000 miles for signing up as an Airbnb host.

He adds, “This partnership brings together two innovative brands focused on delivering superior travel experiences across the globe to customers.”

Delta is not the first to partner with the accommodations giant, as Qantas and Virgin America also formed strategy collaborations, but it is now Airbnb’s largest U.S. global carrier partner.
