The ever-expanding Delta Air Lines announced several new, exciting route and service enhancements.
In partnership with Aeromexico, the airline will launch non-stop service between Detroit (DTW) and Leon, Mexico (BJX), April 30. The new route creates an important economic bridge between two dynamic industrial centers, and connects customers to an expansive network of destinations via Delta’s Detroit hub. The flight will operate Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
This summer, Delta links the Steel City with Utah’s capital and its Salt Lake City hub with non-stop service. Beginning July 9, the flight departs Pittsburgh (PIT) at 8 a.m., arriving in Salt Lake City (SLC) at 10:15 a.m. The return departs Salt Lake City at 5 p.m., arriving in Pittsburgh at 10:55 p.m.
Delta will also expand travel options for Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky customers with new service to Austin (AUS) and Phoenix (PHX). Over the past two years, Delta increased capacity in Cincinnati by 12 percent via new markets, adding frequencies and product improvements. With 82 peak-day departures, Delta offers a first-class cabin on 78 percent of its Cincinnati flights.
