Delta Air Lines is now offering Delta One passengers on select trans-Atlantic routes to Europe new menus from the culinary team at New York’s Union Square Café. Selections will include Italian-inspired offerings such as beef short rib stracotto; roasted chicken breast; gulf shrimp and polenta; and baked pacccheri basil cream pasta. The menu is paired alongside the Delta 2016 wine program from Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson.

“This is really an exciting time for Delta as we continue to change the conversation around airplane food. Our partnership with Union Square Café perfectly aligns with our overall strategy to offer fresh, local and seasonal food to our customers. Through this partnership, customers will enjoy food picked straight from the farm that morning and on their tray table that night,” said Allison Ausband, senior vice president of in-flight service, Delta.

This move only furthers Delta’s current relationship with Union Square Hospitality Group. The airline offers winter menus from the group’s Marta through February.
