Delta Air Lines announced last week its trans-Atlantic network will expand before summer 2019 gets into full swing.
The first route introduced as part of this expansion is the Tampa (TPA)–Amsterdam (AMS) route. It launches May 23, 2019, and will run year-round.
In June, the airline connects its Los Angeles hub (LAX) to Paris (CDG) and Amsterdam. These services commence June 16, 2019.
“Delta is putting great focus on our international expansion and Europe is an important part of this,” said Roberto Ioriatti, vice president, Delta Air Lines, Trans-Atlantic. “Our new Tampa Bay flight and extra capacity on other key routes from our LAX and JFK hubs offer our customers more choice and convenient connections throughout the United States and Europe in connection with our partners.”
In addition to new routes, Delta Air Lines adds a second flight from New York (JFK) to Tel Aviv (TLV) and Paris (CDG).
