Malaysia is set to be the home of the newest Curio by Hilton property once it reaches completion in 2023.

The new property will be the first Curio Collection property in Malaysia and the first Hilton property on the island of Langkawi. It is set to launch in 2023 and bring 250 rooms to the island.

The island of Langkawi needs no introduction as it consistently ranks amongst the most popular resort destinations in South East Asia, and we are delighted to have the opportunity to work with Inspirasi Langkawi to bring to life a brand new, unique Curio Collection property in the heart of Cenang Beach,” said Guy Phillips, senior vice president, development, Asia and Australasia, Hilton.

The resort will sit nine kilometres away from Langkawi International Airport, so it is an easy journey. In addition to the standard resort amenities, the property offers direct access to clear waters and white sandy beaches. Three food and drink venues, including an all-day restaurant and rooftop bar, open with the hotel.

To bring the hotel to life, Hilton signed a 15-year management agreement with Insprasi Langkawi Sdn. Bhd.
