While all Americans seek ways to stay safe while on the go, travel gear brands see an opportunity to provide shoppers with in-demand products. Samsara Luggage launched its Essentials by Samsara safety kit last month, containing protective gear for use during the COVID-19 pandemic. The kits are available to consumers for purchase, but will also be donated to charities in need of supplies.

“The Samsara brand was started to provide products that would give people an added sense of safety and security,” said Atara Dzikowski, CEO and co-founder, Samsara Luggage. “We want to continue to provide a wide variety of solutions for our customers to address this challenging time.”

The Essentials by Samsara safety kit is designed with those who are still required to travel during the COVID-19 pandemic in mind, such as essential health care providers.

Each kit contains a reusable face mask with filter, sanitizing hand gel, four sanitizing alcohol pads and three pairs of disposable gloves. The kit is available for $19.50. Customers purchasing a Samsara piece of luggage at this time will receive a free kit.

In addition to donating the safety kits to those in need, Samsara is also looking for ways to partner strategically with organizations to make meaningful strides toward providing the right safety gear to consumers and travelers.
