The 5-star Corinthia Hotel St. George’s Bay, Malta, launched its partnership with GoPro, enticing guests to borrow cameras and accessories free of charge from the hotel reception desk. The hotel encourages users to capture immersive video and photo footage during their stay, allowing guests to purchase an 8GB SD card for $16.50.
The hotel staff will remind guests to engage with the hotel’s website and social media channels by using the hashtag #CNNHolidaySnaps #GoPro, when sharing videos and snapshots of their experiences with friends and family.
“The partnership between GoPro and our sister [property], the Marina Hotel Corinthia Beach Resort, proved immensely popular. It showed that our guests really want an all-round authentic experience, rather than just a stay. We’re therefore delighted to extend this partnership to Corinthia St. George’s Bay, allowing our guests to record and preserve the memory of their discoveries while in Malta,” said Stuart Chappell, general manager, Corinthia St. George’s Bay.
