A healthy sense of corporate social responsibility is to thank for major bounds made for communities and sustainable tourism efforts around the world.

Corinthia Hotels is responsible for a number of efforts in raising the standard of living in communities around the globe, starting with its involvement in the international water charity, Just a Drop.

Through its involvement with the charity, Corinthia Hotels brought safe drinking water to students and teachers in primary schools in Uganda and much more. Throughout recent years, Corinthia Hotels worked to benefit 40,000 people across seven projects in three countries.

“The results have positively touched the lives and futures of so many. We are pleased to continue our work with the Just a Drop team, which has become a benchmark for the travel industry in caring for the very communities around the world that host our guests,” said Alfred Pisani, chairman, Corinthia Hotels.

Outside of the charity work the hotel group is involved in, it supports environmentalism through environmentally friendly policies throughout the hotels, including installing thermal panels, supplying interest-free loans for bicycle purchases and more.
