The Caribbean destination of Bonaire, an island located in the Leeward Antilles known for its diving and snorkeling opportunities, is set to receive additional flights from Delta Air Lines and United Airlines this winter. To offer more choice and convenience to customers looking for an escape from the cold, non-stop Delta flights from Atlanta (ATL) to Bonaire (BON) expand from one to three weekly, while United adds additional flights from Newark (EWR) and Houston (IAH).
“The addition of these Delta and United non-stop flights to Bonaire during the peak season demonstrates the airlines’ confidence in Bonaire’s tourism product,” commented Malinda Hassell, marketing manager, Tourism Corporation Bonaire. “With these new additional flights added to our U.S. airline schedule, it will also provide our visitors with more convenient connections to Bonaire.”
Delta will add two more direct flights beginning Dec. 19. United’s Newark non-stop flight returns Sept. 26 while its Houston routes launch Nov. 20.
