Join Mexico’s renowned Chef Enrique Olvera on an exclusive culinary journey during a weekend devoted to gourmet pleasures. Meet the Chef (Oct. 18–20) at Hotel Matilda in San Miguel de Allende offers up-close-and-personal insight into the philosophy behind Chef Olvera’s ground-breaking cuisine.
Recognized as not only a top chef in Mexico, but also one of the world’s best, Chef Olvera’s restaurant in Mexico City, Pujol, is No. 17 on the prestigious San Pellegrino list of the world’s top 50 best restaurants. Since June 2012, Chef Olvera has also been the operator of Moxi at Hotel Matilda, turning the restaurant into a destination for food aficionados and gourmands.
“We’re feeding the passion for culinary travel with a unique gourmet experience, where guests will personally learn secrets from and share experiences with one of the world’s master chefs,” said Bruce James, director, Hotel Matilda.
Priced at $3,757 for two people, Meet the Chef includes accommodations in a luxury suite, early check-in and late check-out, a tour of San Miguel d Allende (a UNESCO World Heritage site) led by Chef Olvera and a tasting menu dinner with Chef Olvera.
