Cathay Pacific recently launched its first non-stop service between Hong Kong International Airport and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, with four-times-weekly service. This marks the airline’s sixth passenger destination in the United States and eighth in North America, as well as its first destination in the southern region of the United States.

The service will be operated on the airline’s modern Airbus A350-100 aircrafts. Flights are open for booking and will operate on the following schedule: Flights from DFW depart Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 10:55 p.m. Flights leave from HKG Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 4 p.m.

“My father was fearless, dreamed ‘Texas big’ and would let no obstacle stand in his way,” said Roy Farrell Jr., son of Cathay Pacific founder Roy C. Farrell. “His ultimate vision was to create an international airline that flies throughout Asia and to the U.S., which is clearly demonstrated in its namesake, Cathay Pacific.”

With codeshares and other flight options, Cathay Pacific travelers have the opportunity to connect to other destinations in the United States. This summer, Cathay Pacific plans to operate more than 110 return passenger flights per week to destinations in North America, such as New York (JFK), Boston (BOS), Los Angeles (LAX) and San Francisco (SFO).
