Cathay Pacific offers daily, non-stop service between Boston (BOS) and Hong Kong (HKG). The four-times-weekly service switches to daily March 27, 2017. The route departs Boston at 1:45 a.m., arriving in Hong Kong the next day at 5:35 a.m. Once there, passengers connect to additional Cathay Pacific flights in Asia. The return flight departs Hong Kong at 6:20 p.m., arriving in Boston at 10:10 p.m. the same day. Before the route was introduced two years ago, travelers endured a stop in New York (JFK) or Chicago (ORD), adding as much as four hours onto the flight time. “Cathay Pacific’s Boston to Hong Kong service has been a real success story. The warm welcome from New England travelers and the support of Massport have made our non-stop Boston to Hong Kong service one of the best performing North American routes for Cathay Pacific. When we launched Boston with four flights per week in 2015, it soon became apparent that a more regular service was needed and we are delighted to announce that we will soon be able to provide a daily flight to give our customers more flexibility and greater choice for their Asia travels,” said Philippe Lacamp, senior vice president, Americas, Cathay Pacific. A Boeing 777-300ER operates the service, offering first class, business class, premium-economy class and long-haul economy class.
